Battleships

A battleship is a large, heavily armored warship with a main battery consisting of the largest calibre of guns. Battleships were larger, better armed, and better armored than cruisers and destroyers.

Battleships played an integral role in World War II, and helped save the lives of many Americans. Unfortunately, those who served on US battleships may have been exposed to harmful amounts of asbestos. Below is a list of battleships that may have contributed to asbestos exposure to veterans.
